Art Escapes 2023
School-based Arts & Cultural Workshops

The Arts for All Art Escapes program is a school-based art workshop series held in local classrooms, including special education, alternative, and general ed, aimed at enhancing classroom goals and providing tools for healthy self expression through art, music, dance, and drama. The sixteen week workshops allow students to experience success as they not only gain independence skills, take pride and ownership in their creation, but they also have a new environment to develop positive relationships with their peers, and take away a skill that could become a passion or even influence their career path in new ways.
Arts for All artists provide adapted and engaging instruction in visual art, pottery, creative movement, dance, drama, and more.
Art Escapes workshops are funded for Northwest Education Services (NES) classrooms in Grand Traverse County. Some outside grant funding is available for additional classrooms, and all workshops are available on an individually contracted basis for any classrooms within Grand Traverse, Benzie, Kalkaska, Antrim, and Leelanau counties.
Art Escapes are also available on an individualized basis for other interested organizations.
